- Visitors must be able to easily see how to get to all the pages on your site (concise, consistent navigation). This might seem obvious, but it's astonishing how often this requirement is missed!
- It must project an image consistent with (or establish) your identity (colors, logos, etc.)
- Business sites need to have a "call to action" for your visitor. "Ask for the sale!"
- It should be VERY clear where and how to contact you
- The site should comply with accepted web standards
